Welcome to
the Vida Nueva Ranch website. Our ranch
is located east of the small town of Somerville, Texas, just across the
Washington County line in beautiful Burleson County. It consists of 101 acres.
Most of the land is wooded, but some areas have cleared pastures for grazing.
Davidson Creek borders one side of the ranch and has water throughout the year.
The ranch has abundant wildlife and lots of big, beautiful Post Oak trees. The
ranch headquarters and main home is located on 7 ½ acres approximately twelve
miles from the ranch in Washington County. We are blessed to have this
opportunity to raise our family in a place with such natural beauty, quiet and
peaceful surroundings and fresh country air.
We
purchased the ranch property in July of 2005. As a family, we have all pitched
in towards building a working ranch. We enjoy our time together as a family,
taking care of the animals and maintaining the ranch. We raise Paint and
Quarter Horses, Texas Longhorn Cattle, and Miniature Horses. We
strive to raise high quality livestock that can be enjoyed and appreciated.
